Mandy Nicholson
Naarm (Melbourne) & Yarra Valley
Biography
Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung artist working across paint, weaving and public installation.
Mandy Nicholson is a Wurundjeri-willum artist whose practice draws deeply on the Kulin nation's mapping of country — the songlines of Bunjil and Waa, and the river systems that flow through Naarm. Her public work along the Birrarung reconnects Wurundjeri iconography with the everyday paths of the city.
